On October 17, great Bulgarian actor Apostol Karamitev (1923-1973) would have turned 100 years old. "I don't plan to get old. I want to die young, beautiful, cheerful, interesting! I do not want to be old. I hate old age. The diseases. The anxieties...", Apostle Karamitev once said during his lifetime. He left this world at the age of 50. The actor played a number of roles in theater and cinema, which left a vivid mark in the memory of generations of Bulgarians.
Today, a copy of the death mask of Apostol Karamitev, cast by Dimitar Koklin after Karamitev’s sudden death during shooting of the film "The Weddings of Yoan Asen" and preserved by employees of "Adriana Budevska" Drama Theater, will be officially donated to the Regional Historical Museum in Burgas, where it will be exhibited for visitors.
