In the third quarter of 2023, the average gross monthly salary rose by 2.2% compared to the second quarter of 2023 and reached 1022.58 EUR. The economic activities with the largest rise were "Government" - 13.4%, "Education" - 12.2%, and "Agriculture, forestry and fisheries" - 7.5%.
In September, the highest average salary was registered in the capital city of Sofia - 1417.3 EUR, and the lowest - in Kyustendil - 723.48 EUR.
