Greek farmers’ protests over unpaid subsidies have entered their seventh day. They periodically block the passage of heavy trucks at the Kulata–Promachonas border crossing. However, this leads to losses for transport companies and inconveniences for drivers. This morning, traffic at Kulata–Promachonas border crossing is flowing normally, but another blockade is expected after 12:00, lasting until around 6:00 PM, reported BNT.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that traffic at the Kulata–Promachonas, Kapitan Petko Voivoda–Ormenion, and Ilinden–Exochi border crossings has been restored. However, farmers have announced plans for new blockades.
