Christine Lagarde: Bulgaria’s wait for the euro is almost over

The President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, once again highlighted the introduction of the single European currency in Bulgaria with a post on social media.
“The wait is almost over. A historic milestone, strengthening trade, travel, and financial stability across Europe”, wrote Christine Lagarde.

During her visit to Bulgaria in November, Lagarde noted that her 70th birthday, which falls on January 1, will coincide with Bulgaria becoming the 21st member of the eurozone.
