Bulgaria's Tervel Zamfirov won the parallel giant slalom event of the Snowboard World Cup in a historic victory at the World Snowboard Cup held in Bulgaria's ski resort Bansko.
Two Bulgarians made it to the semifinals yet did not reach the highly anticipated all-Bulgarian final. Radoslav Yankov finished third.
This made the final a historic triumph for Bulgaria with two Bulgarian snowboarders on the winner's podium.
