Malena Zamfirova wins European Cup women's parallel giant slalom in Bansko

The strong performance of the Bulgarian snowboard team in Bansko continues at the European Cup. Today, in the parallel giant slalom, the victory in the women's category went to 16-year-old Malena Zamfirova. She won the qualification and later triumphed in the grand final. In it, she won against Sofia Valle from Italy.

Zamfirova also performed excellently at the World Cup in Bansko last weekend, where she placed fourth and fifth in both days of the competition.

Among the men, Alexander Krashniak placed second, after being overtaken in the final by Japan's Ryusuke Shinohara.
