Two-Thirds of respondents approve of President Rumen Radev’s resignation

64% of respondents approve of Rumen Radev’s decision to resign as president, according to a survey by the Gallup International Balkan commissioned by BNT. 23% disapprove of Radev’s decision, while 13% are undecided.

President Radev’s resignation comes in response to strong public expectations
53% of respondents expect Rumen Radev to run in the early parliamentary elections with his own party. 31% of respondents believe he will participate at the elections with another political force, and 16% of respondents are undecided.
Regarding the upcoming snap elections and the proposed amendments to the Electoral Code, 51% of respondents think that changes to the election rules should be made after the elections, under a new political majority. 34% of respondents support making changes before the vote. 46% of respondents do not believe that their vote is counted correctly, while 38% believe it is.
