Economic losses from the blockade of the borders will be big for everyone

The economic losses for all countries, not only for Bulgaria, from the blockade of the borders with Serbia and North Macedonia will be big, Deputy Prime Minister and outgoing Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov has told journalists.

"Such blockades, in addition to violating fundamental rights of free passage and free transport of goods, lead to very serious economic consequences, not only for the transport sector, but for all other economic sectors that depend on supplies," Karadjov added. According to him, carriers from the Western Balkans would be more successful in solving their problem in a conversation with the European institutions.
