Outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications, Grozdan Karadjov, is hosting today a quadrilateral meeting between Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and the European Commission. The forum marks the start of the practical work on the Memorandum of Cooperation for the Black Sea – Aegean Sea Corridor, which was signed in December 2025 in Brussels.

The meeting will be attended by Greece’s Alternate Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Konstantinos Kyranakis; Romania’s State Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport Ionuț Cristian Săvoiu; the Coordinator of the European transport corridor Baltic Sea – Black Sea – Aegean Sea Mario Mauro; Bulgaria’s Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defence Atanas Zapryanov; as well as representatives of the European Commission and financing institutions.
