The caretaker prime minister must not be party-bound. This opinion was expressed by ITN at the third and last meeting today with President Iliana Iotova within the framework of the procedure for appointing a caretaker prime minister. According to the chairman of the Parliamentary Group of ITN, Toshko Yordanov, out of the five persons who expressed their readiness to take on the post of caretaker prime minister, two were politically-bound - Andrey Gyurov and Dimitar Glavchev. Glavchev was the chair of the parliament from GERB, and Gyurov - chairman of the parliamentary group of "We Continue the Change".

We must choose a caretaker prime minister who is aware of the most pressing issues that need to be resolved. Our most important task is to ensure fair and transparent elections, Iotova said.
