Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov’s caretaker cabinet took an oath before the National Assembly. “I declare that both I personally and the caretaker government will prepare fair elections. We take on the challenge of governing the country until a regular cabinet is formed- without hysteria, with reason, and firmly grounded in reality”, said caretaker Premier Andrey Gyurov.

“We will support efforts for a lasting and just peace in Ukraine. I declare clearly and unequivocally that we will work with our allies in NATO, the European Union, and the United Nations. Vote on April 19 and do not let your vote be turned into a tool for someone else’s interests”, Andrey Gyurov added.
“We will strictly monitor the fulfillment of the promises made”, said President Iliana Iotova, who attended the swearing-in ceremony. The head of state signed decrees appointing the caretaker government and scheduling parliamentary elections for April 19.
