Hristo Iliev won the Balkan title in the 60 m race with a time of
6.53 sec. at the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade.
Second place went to Slovenian Anej Čurin Prapotnik with 6.57 sec.
and third place went to Ertan Özkan from Türkiye with 6.61 sec.,

The
achievement of Hristo Iliev is a new national record and a European
record for youth under 23 years.
Earlier
this month, Iliev set the best result in 38 years in Bulgaria in the
60 m. with 6.61 sec. and days later in Belgrade he set a national
record in the discipline with a time of 6.54 sec.
