Farmers from across Bulgaria will discuss challenges and policies in agriculture

Agricultural producers from across the Bulgaria will gather on February 25–26, 2026, near the town of Kazanlak for their 12th National Meeting, organized by the Association of Agricultural Producers in Bulgaria. The forum will be opened by the caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Ivan Hristanov, who will present the ministry’s priorities.

Key topics of discussion will include the 2026 campaign, grain market forecasts, and future agricultural and food policies in the context of the geopolitical landscape. State aid, diesel excise tax reductions, and opportunities for investment in irrigation will also be addressed.

Participants will further discuss risk management, including insurance and the hail protection system.
