The Sofia Regional Prosecutor’s Office has requested assistance from a U.S. partner agency, whose name has not been disclosed, as well as from Europol in the investigation into the deaths of six people at the Petrohan mountain lodge and below Okolchitsa Peak, Bulgarian National Radio’s “Horizont” program reported.
The requests for assistance were sent by the supervising prosecutor in the case in order to ensure a comprehensive and thorough clarification of the objective truth surrounding the incident.
From the U.S. agency, assistance has been sought in extracting information from various types of electronic devices that have been included in the pre-trial proceedings.
From Europol, support has been requested in obtaining information to clarify the activities of the six deceased individuals on the territory of Mexico.
