Andrey Gyurov presents cabinet’s priorities to ambassadors of EU member states

Caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov held a working meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union member states, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. During the discussion at the Council of Ministers, Premier Gyurov presented the priorities of the caretaker cabinet.
He highlighted the government’s commitment to conducting fair and transparent elections. Another priority, according to the press office of the caretaker cabinet, is strengthening the rule of law and increasing citizens’ trust in institutions.

The meeting also addressed the complicated international situation. The discussion covered the situation in the Middle East and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov emphasized Sofia’s consistent support for Kyiv and reaffirmed that Bulgaria is a reliable and predictable partner within the EU and NATO.
