The evacuation of Bulgarians from the conflict zone in the Middle East is continuing. There are Bulgarian citizens in Qatar who have expressed a wish to be evacuated. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Tourism, and Transport are coordinating new evacuation flights for Bulgarians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

So far, 411 Bulgarian citizens have already returned from UAE. On the evening of March 5, two flights—from Oman and Dubai—arrived at Sofia’s Vasil Levski Airport, bringing another 290 evacuated people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds Bulgarian citizens who have been affected by the suspension of flights through airports in the Middle East, but who are outside areas of active military operations, to stay in contact with their airlines or tour operators in order to arrange alternative routes through third destinations for returning to Bulgaria.
