Prime Minister Rumen Radev has held a meeting in the Council of Ministers with Arthur Milikh, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, who is visiting Bulgaria. The meeting discussed topics from the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and the US, the security and socio-economic challenges arising from the military actions in Ukraine and the Middle East, and approaches to addressing them, the press center of the Council of Ministers informed.

A few days ago, the Bulgarian Prime Minister announced that he had held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump and that he expected the US to request an extension of the stay of US military aircraft at Vasil Levski Airport in Sofia. In the conversation, Radev insisted on a quick consideration of the issue of lifting US visas for Bulgarian citizens.
