Karlos Nasar: Bulgaria is beautiful and deserves to be seen

Olympic, world and European weightlifting champion Karlos Nasar accepted the invitation of the Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov to join the campaign to present Bulgaria to the world. Together with the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, DARA, he is the next popular Bulgarian face in the initiative, the aim of which is to promote the country through successful and inspiring Bulgarians as goodwill ambassadors of Bulgarian tourism.

Minister Dimitrov presented Nasar with a statuette of a Bulgarian rose, which will be part of the message to the international audience. "Let the world see our country not only as a beautiful destination, but as a country with a history, spirit and personalities who tell about it," Dimitrov said. "Our country is dear to all of us who carry it in our hearts, it is beautiful and deserves to be seen by more people around the world," Nasar said.
