Bulgaria's racing driver Nikola Tsolov claimed a dominant victory in the Formula 2 British Grand Prix, extending his lead over Gabriele Minì at the top of the championship standings.
The Campos Racing driver has now recorded three consecutive victories in the championship, completing his first double-win weekend after triumphing in both the sprint race and the feature race. Tsolov started Sunday's race from fifth on the grid, having already won Saturday's sprint from sixth position, BTA reported.
"Right now, nobody can stop me. I hope we can keep this momentum going. We just need to find a little more speed over a single lap so I can start further up the grid. But in the races, I think we're extremely competitive, especially this weekend. Coming here, we didn't expect this. We thought it would be one of our more difficult weekends, but we're leaving with two victories and three wins in a row overall. The feeling is incredible," the Bulgarian driver said.
