Ivan Ivanov receives ITF junior world champion award

Ivan Ivanov received the 2025 International Tennis Federation junior world champion award at the World Tennis Champions Awards ceremony held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He is the first Bulgarian tennis player to receive this prestigious International Tennis Federation award in this category.

Last season, Ivan Ivanov won the boys’ singles titles at Wimbledon and the US Open, becoming the first player since Tseng Chun-hsin in 2018 to win two junior Grand Slam titles in one season. He is also only the second Bulgarian to win a junior Grand Slam title after Grigor Dimitrov.

Last season, Ivan Ivanov also reached the semifinals of Roland Garros, triumphed at a J300 tournament in France, made his Davis Cup debut for Bulgaria in the victory over Finland, and won his first men’s title at a tournament in Hungary. Thanks to his consistently strong results, he topped the world junior ranking for 47 weeks.
