There
are no contradictions in the position on Ukraine, said President
Iliana Iotova in Burgas, where she attended the national naval
exercise with international participation "Breeze 2026".
Her comment was in connection with Prime
Minister Rumen Radev's position that Bulgaria will not participate in
the Coalition of the Willing in support of Ukraine and the subsequent
scandal over whether Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova had signed
the declaration on the country's participation in the coalition in
Kyiv.
Iliana
Iotova
pointed out that documents such as the Kyiv
Declaration are not subject to discussion during the forums, there is
no voting and no signatures are required. "The
most accurate position of Bulgaria was expressed by Prime Minister
Rumen Radev at several major world forums," the head of state
also said.
