Scientists from more than 25 countries will present their work on the digital preservation of cultural heritage at the international DiPP2026 conference, which opens on September 24 in Bulgaria's Burgas, the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) announced.
The forum will focus on ensuring open access to digitised national cultural and scientific heritage and on pursuing sustainable policies for its long-term digital preservation.
Innovative technologies and prototypes will also be showcased, including digital repositories and archives, virtual museums and digital libraries.
