The Czech Centre will continue its activities in Bulgaria, the cultural institution announced. “The Director General of the Czech Centres network has reversed the decision to close the centre in Sofia. The credit for this goes entirely to all of you who joined forces and supported us – both here in Bulgaria and in the Czech Republic”, the centre said in a press release.
The Czech Centre added that its hall will be made available every Wednesday for cultural events until June 20, and that after the summer season the programme will resume from September 23 until the end of the year. It also invited interested parties to submit proposals for events via email. The institution said the invitation is a gesture of gratitude to the Bulgarian public for its support. “The best way to express our gratitude is to open our doors to you”, the Czech Centre wrote.
