"After January 1, I will speak about resignations and protests," said GERB leader Boyko Borissov in the National Assembly regarding today’s no-confidence vote and the anti-government protests taking place across the country. He added that he wants to complete the geostrategic task of Bulgaria joining the Eurozone.

Boyko Borissov emphasized that the GERB–UDF coalition entered the government to lead the country toward this goal and will not agree for it to be compromised before every Bulgarian withdraws money from an ATM in euros. "We have 20 meters to the finish – January 1," he said.
The GERB leader assured that through the years he has always heard the voice of protesting citizens. He gave as an example the “revised” budget after the large rally on December 1 this year. According to him, the reworked draft budget is good.
