Greek farmers protesting in Serres announced that on January 13, starting at 12:00 p.m., they will fully block the main border crossing to Bulgaria at Promachonas–Kulata, BNR’s correspondent in Greece, Katya Peeva, reported. The blockade is planned for an indefinite period, and it is unclear whether passenger vehicles will be allowed through. All other border crossings are also at risk of prolonged blockades. The farmers said they will assess the situation at the border as it unfolds.
